Can Media and transation be combined ?

I have proposed a job title of " Media and Transation Specialist" for our public relations department , but the management is requesting to show any examble fron any recognized organization which has combined the two functions of Media and translation
What is the openion of experts on this? Can these two functions be combined? any example of a recognized Organization?
