Can is use a backup CD with Mac Boot camp?

Hi there i'm using a mac and i've been wanting to get XP on it for sometime. There's one problem i don't know where to get an installation CD from, i've been old by a few people that i could use the back up CD that came with my Dell and other have told me i cannot. I was just wondering where can i get a CD from with a key. Many thanks in advance
