I was just wondering what you thought about the programming intelligence. If programming artificial intelligence implys that the AI actually understands what is being brought to it's senses. For example, you are playing an FPS with AI enabled and you have the ability to send messages back and forth between each other. If the AI respond back and plays as a human player would, does that imply that it understands, or is it just "pretending" that it understands? If it is true that the AI can understand, does that imply it has a conscienceness? I hope this makes sense...
