Well, I guess what is done is done, right? So, all I can encourage you for the future. Like others have said, it can be a cumalitive of things that will damage things later. Actually, things can be damaged at any point, but it may take some time before the damage is bad enough for you to feel the pain.
Like Pepper, I too have multiple failed fusions and now am dx. with failed back/lami. syndrome. The surgeon can not figure out what went wrong. I too remeraber wondering if I began driving too soon, went back to work too soon...who knows, but I did what the Dr. said and things just did not go as planned. I remeraber asking if I could go to the amusement park, if I did not go on any roller coaster or things that bumped into each other. My surgeon said absolutly no. I would have been happy to just go on the swings, carosel and Farris wheel etc. Who would have thought the stop's and go's would be enough of a jolt to do harm.
Good luck,
