Can I work like a Art teacher, with my Architecture degree?

Im from another country and Im Architect in my country,but now here in US. Im not architect, I take a lot art and history class, and Im really good with arts. Im legal resident, and my husband keep telling me I can get a job like a Art teacher with my Architecture degree, because he things some credits work great, and he says another option is take some classes and he thinks they can work out with my credits.

I would like to see opinions about how the system work here in this country, thanks
