can i use white vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar for my hair?

i read a lot of reviews on the net saying that apple cider vinegar is a damn good cure for dandruff as well as the acne but i searched but it is unavailable in my area so can i use white vinegar instead of it please help me as i needd ur help
in my area only white vinegar is available
