can I use two cell phones for one number on verizon wireless?

Hey I have a blackberry phone with verizon wireless... I was wondering if I could also get a cheap phone with the same number as my blackberry, so I can have one phone for work and one for home. Also/or if I could just use the cheap phone as a backup incase my blackberry breaks?
