I upgraded my hp laptop from 1GB (two 512 cards) to 2GB and was wondering if i could replace the 256MB cards in my Sony Vaio with the 512MB cards i pulled from my hp? the 512 cards are nanya pc2-5300s - 555 - 12 - A2.512MB.2Rx16.667
I figure if they will just be sitting in the package- I could use them to double up on the ram of my vaio. Will it work?
