Can I use the Ford Taurus stock amp's power and remote wires for an aftermarket one?

I already got an aftermarket stereo. The original stereo had a stock amp in the back and it has power and remote wires.

Can I just use these for a 500-watt subwoofer amp (aftermarket), instead of running new ones? Or will I need bigger ones?
