Can I use Simple Green on my cars paint job to remove water spots/grime?

I use simple green on the chrome on my car and works great (just gotta scrub) its cheaper then those special and harmful chemical water spot removers. The quesion is, can I use it ON MY PAINT JOB? Or is there anything that's better?
