Can I use Rust-Oleum to paint my bicycle?

Can i use rust-oleum for BBQ&Stoves to paint my bike? i got it because it has the matte look im looking for besides i have a 70's bike and there is some small rusting, can i avoid primer? also purchased a black car paint, i also want to paint the rims black, what should i do? Help!
