Can i use Neosporin cream for a dog bite on my arm?

I JUST got bit by a dog and the wound happens to be fairly deep. Not too deep, but I can see the inside of my skin. It's a tiny perfect hole in my left bicep and I immediately poured rubbing alcohol on it and then a bandaid on it. Later I put Hydrogen Peroxide on it with a cotton ball and then put neosporin type cream directly on the wound and then covered it with a bandaid. I looked at the box and it said to not use on puncture wounds or animal bites. Am I safe or should I try and get all the neosporin cream entirely off?
