The Amp specs: 900W max power, 290W x 1 RMS into 4 ohms, 500W x 1 RMS into 2 ohms
The Sub can handle 400 watts nominal and 800 watts max and its a 4ohm sub.

The sub handles amazingly with it wired at 4 ohms, but i was wondering if it would be safe to switch the wiring to 2 ohms since the amp will feed the sub 100 watts more than it should.

Now I like to occasionally brag about my system and turn it up, but I keep my amp settings to 75% just to be safe. Now i know enough about car audio to know what i'm talking about, i'm not some kid that decides that louder sounds nice and then blow it up.

I just wanna be on the safe side and make sure i dont do anything stupi y'know?
