Can I use my pre paid card to purchase a hotel room online?

On the internet I saw this hotel near me , and I wanted to pay for two nights and I can make reservations online but I was wondering can I use my prepaid card and get the hotel in advance online then when I get there just check in with ID. Can I do this any tips I live in Ohio btw
