I can connect to the internet with my data plan with no problem at all, but I was wondering if it was possible to connect to the internet using WiFi. My curve 8320 supports it, and I can use it on the phone to browse and do stuff, no problems, but I want to connect my BB to my PC using the USB cable, and use the BB as a modem, however, I don't want it to use the data plan (as it is right now) but instead use the phone's wi-fi connection... is it possible?
The thing is, I have wi-fi router in my house, however, right now I'm way too far from the router so I can't connect my PC directly through ethernet cable, and my PC doesn't have any wireless card to get wi-fi... so I was wondering if it was possible to use the Blackberry as a wireless adapter... it would be great since the internet from my data plan is slow and also limited to 1GB/month.. I need to know if the phone's wi-fi connection can be used by my computer...
