Can I use images from Flickr in a restaurant menu? Or should I use a paid stock image?

I have a commercial design project for a restaurant menu and i have no images from the client of the dishes. I tried looking for some pictures on Flickr but I told the client that they are only comp photos but he likes them (or something similar). I don't know if I can use them in a menu and the Creative commons rights are not clear if I can use the images or not.
