Can I use Financial Aid Money on books from Amazon.com? How would I access this money...

...if its on my school ID? I received financial aid money for books....but I usually just go to the schools bookstore & use my student ID to access the funds...but this semester im the only student in a course and the teacher is going to have me order books off amazon and the school will not have it.
