Can I use both pedal outputs at the same time without affecting the 'amp' output sound?

I use a digitech bad monkey overdrive which has two outputs (amp + mixer).
while using the 'amp' output for the rest of the chain and finally - the amplifier, can i use the mixer output at the same time too for a tuner without affecting the sound that the 'amp' output is producing?
