I'm looking into getting a new computer, I was originally interested in either a used Mac Pro, or one of the new iMac 27" w/Core i7. Though, I found a used Xserve that has almost identical specs to the Mac Pro I was looking into getting, but it's $1,000 cheaper! I know near to -nothing- about the Xserve, and what issues I might run into if I tired to use it as a desktop machine. As of now, the only problem I can see, is the built in graphics, is there a way around this? Can I install a new graphics card that has a bit more snuff then the crappy Radeon X1300? I'm guessing not, given it's rack-mount server form; but you never know.
Can I use an Apple Xserve (Intel) server as a desktop computer?
