My wife is a long-time AT&T customer, while I use T-Mobile through my employer. She bought an iPhone last fall, but she has been dissatisfied with it and is thinking about upgrading to another phone. Since the phone is already activated, would I be able to use it through T-Mobile without hacking it? Would AT&T need to unlock it -- and would they actually agree to do it?
