can i use Ajax control toolkit in asp.net 2.0(VS 2005)?

I have downloaded and tried to load the Toolkit in my visual studio dot net 2005 but i am getting this following error

could not load file or assembly 'system.web.extensions, version=3.5.0.0, culture=neutral Publickeytoken=31bf3856ad364e35 or one of its dependencies. the system cannot find the file specified.

Can you pls Help me...
