Can I use a Sprint or Verizon Phone & Flash it to Metro PCS?

I want to use a Sprint or Verizon Phone on metro pcs but I wanna make sure that I can flash it over and still be able to use the internet and MMS....I know that in the past you couldnt, but I wonder if things have changed....
