can i use a rock band pedal with band hero drums?

[please help me]

i asked this question before...... but ... i have band hero and i broke the bass pedal...however i've been looking all over and i cant seen to find a band hero pedal just rock band...

and i was wondring i could use a rock band bass pedal with the band hero drums..

last time i asked here i was told i could but when i went to game stop they guy told me it wouldn't work because they are different brands

so can someone please tell me who is right...i am desperate!
