Can I use 7.1 PC speakers to 5.1 Samsung blu ray?

I use S750 Creative 7.1 for the PC wihch is amazing sound. Superb. However, I recently bought a blu ray for the tv and I am wondering if I can connect the speakers to the blu ray machine. It's a samsung make.
If it can be possible please give details.
