I have the first gen iPhone but the need for wifi has been bugging me for a while especially with the requirement for internet on many of the apps now. My contract will be up in about 3 months so I figured getting the 3G will be okay till the next gen iPhone comes out in June.
I'm on tmobile though and I'm not sure how that works. I want to switch over without terminating my contract. Do I...just buy the phone? But then how do I transfer my number over? My phone's unlocked and I've googled a bit but it's hard to find a straight answer. (And I don't sell on ebay!)
