can i upgrade my T-mobile contract at Walmart?

I have T-mobile and im due for an upgrade and the phone i want its kinda alot, and someone told me go to Walmart they can do upgrades in there electronic department and there phones r cheaper...is that true? anyone know if it is true?

It's true. You can do your upgrade and typically, the phones are less expensive.
