Since verizon is now in charge of ur account you have to follow their rules. You have to wait 20 months till you qualify for an upgrade, or switch to a verizon plan and you qualify every year
 
...alltel? I have the lg banter and am still in a contract with a alltel phone. Can I upgrade my phone to a verizon phone like the samsung rogue without having to pay a termination fee since alltel switched to verizon? I have not yet switched plans to verizon yet and have a alltel plan for it is cheaper. Also verizon stores have completely taken over alltel stores here and it's December. If anyone knows the answer please post it! Thank you!
