can i unlock iphone 3g with the 4.1 ios?

i upgraded my 3g iphone the other day to 4.1. well long story short i cant unlock my iphone for tmobile and i need it to be unlocked because now i dont have a phone can anyone help me with this? the update disabled the ability to use redsnow and ultrasnow so i need help with something else that is just as easy as those if not as easy ill try to figure out i just really REALLY need help
