Can I transfer my Micro ATX motherboard to a Mid ATX/ATX Case?

Howdy! I've been thinking about getting a new computer for gaming, but I just don't have the money to go out and buy a $2,000 dollar computer. I've been looking into the Radeon 6850 graphics card, but I don't think it will fit in my Micro-ATX case. (I don't think so... Will it?) So I've been thinking about upgrading to a bigger case. I'm just wondering if everything will go smoothly making the case change. I have a Dell Inspiron 531s.
