Can I transfer my current Phone Number to Boost Mobile?

Hey, I'm Zack. I am currently with Straight Talk and I'm am going to be switching phone plans to Boost Mobile. Reason so is cause I've had my Straight Talk phone since they 1st came out and have had the cheapest one they had on the market. The Straight Talk phones are VERY expensive and they are not worth the money. I'm going this coming Wednesday to get the Boost Mobile Incognito. What my question is; Can I activate a Boost Mobile Plan and still keep my Straight Talk number? And if so, What all must be done to have it done? I love my number. Everyone I know knows it by heart and it's my number. Any Information will help. And before you say, "Contact Customer Service", I have. I'm not being mean, I just can't understand some things they say. Please and Thank you
