Can I trade in my honda accord for an infiniti at the dealership?

So I don't understand how the trade in process goes at all! I have an '03 full-option honda accord and want to trade it in for an infinite fx 45, can i do that? would i have to go the honda dealership or the infiniti?! or are trade-ins only for newers models of the same make?
 
You are better of selling your car privately at a retail cost . The dealer is going to offer you a whole sale price because he will later sell you car or a profit . Yes, any dealer should trade of any car as the dealer who much he would offer you then you could add another $1000 to it and sell it privately.
