I originally got my permit march 2008. It expired march 2009 because I broke my collarbone and was unable to take the test. I got it renewed June 2009. The new law on October 1st increases the waiting period from getting your permit from 6 to 9 months. Prior to this new law, a renewed permit did not have to re-wait the six month period before testing. Many people are saying that this new law will require me to wait 9 months from my NEW permit instead of letting me test at any given time, like the old law. Anyone have confirmation on this? I scheduled my test for October 17th and the woman said it was fine, but all information on the web has told me otherwise and I have a feeling they are not going to let me test.
