can i take online history classes?

i would rather do online history classes than go to collage for history because i don't need a degree in it and i just want the knowledge because i love history. i wanted to work in a museam in a few years but you don't have to have a degree where i want to get a job at you just have to have all of the knowledge. so please help? thank you so much
