I live in a townhome, with back to back houses. In back of us, two young men have a surround sound, and blare it when they play video games, at all times of the day, sometimes til 3 am in the morning. I have asked my HOA for help, but they are useless. They claim they need more than one household complaining. These people are behind me, I do not know their neighbors!
I have spoken to them twice, and sent letters. Tonight, my walls are shaking again. They have ruined time with my family during christmas, spring break, and this 4th of July weekend. My family and I are sick of it!! I have kept a detailed list of every time this summer they have bothered us. I was planning on writing one more note, and keeping a copy, summarizing what a problem this is, and that I've made several attempts to resolve the issue. This is a neighborhood, not a frat house!
I doubt the HOA will do anything, and if they do, they take up to a year to resolve the issue. I'm suppose to tolerate this horrific noise for that long? Does anyone know, once I start calling the cops, if I can take them to civil court? Thank you.
