can i take my cbt at 16 for a 125cc bike?

So my friend wants us both to take our CBT tests BUT we are 16. My friend seems to think it doesnt matter. So will a center let us on a 125cc at 16 to train on?? or a moped?? or will this only give me a moped license and i cant ride a 125 when i am 17?? Thankes ps. PLEASE EXPLAIN. i am stuck
 
hey! you can do your CBT when you are 16 and you can ride a 50cc moped OR a 50cc bike...ie...an aprillia 50cc.
When you turn 17 you'll be able to ride a 125cc on your provisional liscence (that you get from doing your cbt) Or you can go on and do your full bike licence.
