My name is Adam and I'm from Lenoir, NC. About 3 weeks ago, I purchased a used car from a dealer in my city. I placed $1000 down so I could finance it on the lot. As of two days ago, I have been experiencing problems in the transmission. In addition to that, my oil pressure light flashes on occasion, and my antifreeze light does too. Some people say that I have a right to return it according to "lemon laws". I have no idea what the lemon laws are in North Carolina because I'm sure they vary from state to state. I have $1,800 left on the car. What can I do? Is there a law that allows me to return a vehicle within 30 days of purchase, or will I have to fight for this?
