Can i take GCSE photography exam outside of school?

My school does not offer the course but i really want to do it.
I live in Essex so i would like to do a course within Essex.
If you have any ideas on what i could do please tell me!

Most places don't do photography as a GCSE course, since its usually an A-Level subject. You could try looking at a few local 6th form colleges and see what courses they have on offer which are open to GCSE students. If there aren't any courses available, then going to a photography club/group could help you develop your skills so you will be right on track if you decide to take photography at college =]
