Can i switch the sim card in my blackberry to an android powered phone?

I have a Blackberry with the Rogers Blackberry plan, I i unlock it can i pu the sim card into a samsung galaxy S for example
correction: Can I unlock the blackberry and put the sim in a samsung galaxy s for example
