Can i switch phones on my own?

My wife broke her Cricket Razr and Ive got the phone i was using when i had Cricket, its a Flashed Tro 700wx. I know the programming code for the Treo and it gets me to the MDN, MSID screen, but I dont know the programming code for the Razr. My question is, can i just switch the phones myself, instead of paying a Cricket store to do it for me? I know the MDN is the phone nuraber of the line, but Im not sure what the rest are.

Call cricket and switch the treo esn to her account. *228 the phone and it will manually program the phone. If not put the MDN into the phone yourself. You can also ask for her MDN and MIN when switching the ESN as the CS rep can see it on their screen.
 
So, if I put the MDN in myself, do i still have to call cricket? Thats what im wondering, can i do it all myself, or does cricket have to have something to do with it?
