Can I switch phones even if I'm on a 3 year contract with Rogers?

I just signed a new contract about two weeks ago with Rogers for a BlackBerry Curve 8520.
I needed a new phone badly, so I rushed into it, and now I'm having doubts about my selection..
I really want the new iPhone 4, but at the time I thought that it was too expensive. The guy serving me told me that if I wanted to exchange phones, I had 15 days to do that. I am now at my 14th day of owning my phone, and I don't think I'll have the money to buy my desired phone by tomorrow.
So my question is: With my newly signed contract, am I allowed to switch phones even if I pass my 15 day limit, or do you not recommend doing this?

i am NOT going to buy the phone on kijiji or ebay, and i am not going to pay the 700 dollars it costs (it was 200$ on a three year term.) :P
