I lived with my friends mom for a month or two and during this time she asked me if I would get her Verizon Fios for her home under my name because she owed them money already. She refuses to pay me and its about 3 months later... and i canceled it after 2 months so now she owes me about 230$. My question is if i took her to small claims court do i have a chance of winning the case because we had a spoken agreement and now she wont pay me...the funny thing is that i am only 18 years old and she is 40 and she is trying to screw me...I did her a favor and so she is taking advantage of that.....will the judge see it my way because if not i dont want to waste my time.thanks guys
