Long story short...Got hurt at work, had to get a lawyer to go through workman's comp and get the bills paid. Months AFTER the case closed, a collections company for one of the medical bills from the closed case reported the debt as unpaid and delinquent. This completely ruined my otherwise perfect credit report, and prevented me from getting the loan I need to get married. Can i sue for this?
The bills were supposed to be paid by my employer's insurance company because it was workman's comp.
