I had some pending charges. My attorney said to take a plea deal to reduce my sentence and I said no. My lawyer said that the judge can do what ever he wants and he can throw out certain elements of my case which I want to use in my defense. I asked how the judge got the power to do that, and my lawyer said, "If he didn't like his coffee this morning. He can do what he wants to."
