don't play for awhile, I know the urge you might get for playing any sports, BUT DON'T.
A friend of mine and a group of buddies (including me) were playing football. He got tackle really bad and his shoulder got dislocated or something alike, but it was painful. he ended up in the emergency room. He can't play sports anymore, not at least professional or any college ball. He let about 3 months past, and the doctor told him his shoulder was fine but to not play ball.
He didn't listened and he went right on to play ball (''his shoulder felt fine''), again with the same people and some other... he did a wrong procedure while trying to catch the ball and got pain in his shoulder again. It wasn't painful so he continued playing, he got tackle... ended up in emergency room, this time he was really fuc*ed. (pardon my french)
if he would have stopped at the moment he felt his pain he would have had a future in sports.
I know a lot of stories with injuries that caused a future in sports to people that I know.
GET YOU SHOULDER CHECKED AND REST!
Don't be afraid because you'll be able to play again.
BUT, KNOW THIS: YOUR SHOULDER MIGHT NOT BE THE SAME AGIAN IF YOUR INJURY IS REALLY BAD.
JUST LIKE PITCHERS GETTING HURT AND HAVING OPERATIONS (THEY AREN'T THE SAME AFTER)
I'm sorry for my long story and don't get scared neither.
