Can I still meet and talk with my guidance counselor after I graduate from high school?

You would have to call and ask them. I don't know about where you are but after we graduated high school we had to have a good reason to go back on campus, like we couldn't just walk in. So call and ask first.


As far as the ACT..here everyone takes the SAT but I graduated in 2008 and when I was applying to college they told me that while your ACT or SAT scores can help you a lot of colleges barely look at them anymore. So while it might help you it's not necessarily a free pass to get into any school you apply to.
 
And if your willing to ask this question...
If I get a high score on my ACT, will I be able to get in to most colleges despite my average grades?
(I did pretty good, got mostly A's B's and C's, but in my senior year I had to drop two classes because of different reasons and got drop fails.)
 
It depends on the counselor. There's no law that forbids it, but it is unusual.
In answer to your second question, "most" colleges, sure, but if you mean most of the ones you specifically apply to, the answer may not be the same. Even though the uni's people usually think of when they think higher education are private, expensive, and very exclusive, there are TONS (the majoritiy, in fact) of uni's that the majority of people will end up going to. It also depends on you GPA. "mostly a's, b's, and c's" isn't very descriptive, sorry :/
