I was headed back from a long drive in the early hours of the morning and I had to be at work by 8am and it was 4:30am when it occurred. I was tired and looking forward to only another 1 and 1/2 of driving so I set the car on a comfortable cruise of 70mph and all the other cops I passed never stopped me but I still got managed to pass by the one cop that did care.
Long story short, I got the ticket.
Well, I just decided I would plea guilty and take defensive driving...you know, pay a fine but no hit to my record.
Unfortunately my life got busy and I completely forgot about taking the course and then I got a nice letter in the mail stating if I didn't go to court by such and such date I would have a warrant issued for my arrest. Only problem is I really don't want to take a hit to my driving record but I've already plead guilty. So can I still fight this ticket or am I out of luck?
