I've become serious about losing weight. I've already dropped over 40 pounds. My favorite exercise is bicycling. I always feel more energetic when I do.
Anyhow, I began having horrible neck pain. This is as bad as 8 years ago, when I had bone fusion surgery for a herniated disc.
I know that weight loss will help. I've already dropped nearly 20 percent of my weight, at the time I started.
I'm going to my doc on Wednesday. But, I'm wondering if, in the meantime, I can continue to ride. If I can, what can I do to ensure good posture? I also like to bike to and from work once a week.
Any help and advice would be highly appreciated. Serious answers only please!!
