I was arrested when I just turned 18 for Burglary Class E Felony. I was charged but not convicted, therefore I still have my 2nd Amendment rights, which is to bear arms/carry a fire arm. I have one year of probation to complete. Judicial Diversion.
Can I still join the military later on in life or be a police officer? It will be erased from public record for being my first offense, except for the DA will always have a copy and the GOV will be able to see it.
I plan on getting a masters or doctorates in Criminal Justice and I want to try to apply for the military and serve a few years before I apply for the Police Department.
What are the odds of being a :
- Military Soldier
-Police Officer
-Teacher
** I AM NOT A CONVICTED FELON.
