I will soon have a bachelors in physics, and I'm not sure where to look for jobs. I think teaching high school physics would be interesting, but I do not want, nor can I afford to take more classes in order to get a teaching accreditation from my college. I would be willing to take a few months to train as a teacher before starting to teach on my own. What I am asking (to those who actually know) is this possible? I could also teach a variety of math classes as physics bachelors need lots of math too! And if you are thinking about responding with "depends on where you are" please let me know WHERE this would be possible. What I'm really hoping for is a testimonial of someone or a friend of someone who has done this exact thing recently.
By the way, I understand that I would need to be licensed by the state I would teach in, I just don't want to take more classes at my college. A few quick classes or seminars and tests to get licensed would be just fine. Thanks
