can i somehow remove the image frame from particular images on my google blog?

my layout on blogger will draw a frame around any image i publish...which is perfectly fine for actual images, as i think it makes them fit better in

but that is not the case if i want to post an emoticon

so is there any way i can remove that frame from certain pictures in my posts, without having to remove it permanently from the layout code?
